Brenda: On life and other quirky bits

Back to Blog

Hello, I'm Brenda

I talk way too much for my own good and possess an ego too large for my small frame.

I like to challenge social norms and do silly stuff like work under the table instead of at it. Easily bribed with colourful balloons.

When I bought my spankin’ new Canon EF-S 15-85mm IS USM lens a couple of days ago (my previous lens went completely kaput – so it was the perfect time to upgrade), the very helpful store owner at John 3:16 Photo Supplies picked it up and took the very first (test) photo.

No prizes for guessing who the test subject was.

Guess who!
Watcha’ staring at?! o.O

The strange thing was – I love it! I have no idea why all the self-portrait pictures I end up liking most are those of me with quirky expressions. That’s just the way it is!

I see this as a nice start of a new beginning with my new lens. (;

I’ve stopped photography for quite a while due to my previous faulty lens – which went slightly bonkers on September last year and subsequently became near-complete kaput last November. (It serves as a good reminder to myself never to buy second-hand lenses again.)

With the Canon EF-S 15-85mm IS USM, along with the polarizing and UV filters I got – it’s time to get back at it again!

Whee, so eggciting!

      Haha, the site stats thing happened last night after I posted the entry. Each time I add a new blog post, there will be a sudden influx of guests … and all of them are either MSN/Google/Yahoo bots!
